If you’re serious about mapping and/or monitoring vast areas on a routine basis, the Albatross is the aircraft for you. This aircraft is well-suited to any project where long flight times and long range are required. This makes it perfect for large area surveillance, monitoring of large forestry projects, agricultural imagery, and linear infrastructure inspection. Requiring only 300 m of runway and minimal infrastructure, the Albatross can easily be deployed to remote areas for monitoring missions. A 10 kg payload capacity provides users with the opportunity to carry a wide variety of passive and/or active sensor systems. And, with up to 5 hours of gas-powered flight time and a cruise speed of 120 km/h the Albatross can cover comparable land area to small manned aircraft at a much lower hourly operating cost.
The Albatross is a large and complex aircraft. If you don’t have extensive experience with unmanned aircraft, we highly recommend that you consider using our flight services.
